being creative

I used to be so creative. Well, I guess I haven't stopped being creative I just haven't had the time to do projects. Also, for a while I started caring what people thought of my art and that made me feel a little self conscious- which is silly. Silly because not everyone is going to like it, I don't even have to like it. It's about the process and the learning and the trying. There isn't any way to figure out what you like doing, or your style unless you keep at it, right?

A few months ago I painted this:

I've always enjoyed birds, and this little birdie I especially like. It has a little place close in my heart. I'm scared to try something different or even similar for fear that I won't like it! Partly I blame all the professionally talented artists I know in my life, because their work is so intimidating!

I'll never know unless I try though! (And maybe a little vino will help.... hehe)
