Granny used to say "Bah Humbug" at Christmas time, except she wasn't the Scrooge of the season. She was the most positive Humbug-er around, I think she just liked saying it. Granny passed just a few days before Christmas this year, and we definitely miss her. I'll miss our underwear filled stockings, her persimmon cookies, and extended Christmases on the coast.
This reminds me to celebrate being with loved ones, you never know when they won't be around anymore. I think with the recent losses in our family has actually brought us closer together. We've been reminiscing, laughing, and we enjoying being around another.
