I’ve never actually made a new years resolution before… Mostly because I know that if I made one, I would beat myself up over completing it. However, I’ve always been intrigued by the idea. Every December I start thinking about if I’ll finally make a resolution or not. I usually put off the thought until well after the first of the year, then deciding it’s too late to start. But not this year, this year it will be different. But it won’t be a normal New Years resolution. I’m not swearing to lose an ungodly amount of weight or restrict my favorite foods from my diet… Instead of making one gigantic resolution to keep for 2012, I’m making a list of goals of things that I’d like to do. Consider it like a ’30 before 30′ sort of scenario. (Which by the way, when do I start working on that list? That number is approaching faster than I probably think…)
Anywho, here goes my list, let’s see what happens! (in no particular order...)
GOALS for 2012
1. Simplify. Simplify. Simplify. – I seem to collect ‘stuff’, and it drives me nuts!
2. Learn calligraphy.
3. Draw and paint more often.
4. Run 400 miles.
5. Participate in some sort of official athletic event.
6. GRADUATE COLLEGE!
